Imagine the rewarding feeling of seeing a child's eyes light up when given a new uniform for school. Get energized by reading to second graders or being part of the Kids on the Block puppet show. Bring laughter and companionship to seniors who are somewhat confined and/or incapacitated. Assistance League members receive immediate feedback and know that they make a difference in the lives of these children and seniors.

Social Activities

Our members work together and play together. All social activities are funded by member dues and donation drawing ticket sales. Here's a sample of the yearly social events: charter lunch in June, holiday lunch in December, new member activities to help everyone get to know each other. All other activities are planned by the social committee and change from year to year.
